As such, the gut is able to absorb a higher level of vitamin C, ensuring that there is less waste and a more stable level in the bloodstream for a longer period. Replicating the natural process of food digestion, this ensures that the beneficial effects of vitamin C are available over a sustained period. Vitamin C contributes to:
