Lamberts Osteoguard® is a comprehensive all-in-one supplement, expertly formulated to aid normal bone and muscle function. Supplying all of the key nutrients at safe yet nutritionally relevant levels, each tablet provides three fine grade minerals: 500mg of calcium, 125mg of magnesium, and 1.5mg of boron, plus 10µg of vitamin D3 and 75µg of vitamin K.

It is well established that many peoples’ diets are deficient in the two essential bone-making nutrients, calcium and magnesium, and that low calcium intakes can contribute to the rate at which bone mass declines with age. The Department of Health (DoH) recommends that women should have an intake of up to 1200mg of calcium per day, a level that is hard to achieve through diet alone, especially if the diet contains little dairy produce. Magnesium, which is increasingly absent from the food we eat, is known to help in the deposition of calcium in bones.

Both of these minerals contribute to the maintenance of normal bones, whilst there is some evidence to suggest that boron may also help to maintain joint and bone health. Osteoguard® is complete by the addition of vitamins D and K, enabling the effective disintegration and utilisation of calcium and magnesium by the body.
