Marshmallow & Gamma Oryzanol is an expertly formulated product designed to support digestive health and comfort, combining a duo of soothing herbs that enjoy a substantial history of use, together with gamma oryzanol and a gentle enzyme blend to support the breakdown of macronutrients in the foods we eat.
Marshmallow is a herb with a history dating back thousands of years. It was used by the Ancient Greeks and Ancient Egyptians medicinally to treat all sorts of ailments. It is a mucilaginous herb, known for its calming, soothing and healing properties. It is frequently used to support digestive comfort and may help to soothe and coat the gastrointestinal tract.
The combination of marshmallow root together with slippery elm is a powerful one, as slippery elm is also known for its soothing and calming effects on the digestive tract. We have also included a blend of digestive enzymes, including amylase, lipase, cellulase and lactase, to support the breakdown of carbohydrates and fats, fibres and sugars; as well as gamma oryzanol, a naturally occuring mixture of plant sterols and ferulic acid esters, which may support the digestive system.
2-4 capsules at the beginning of each meal three times daily, or as directed.
Can capsule be opened and sprinkled onto food?
Yes. The contents of the capsule can also be added to a drink.
