Baby BioFlora is a specialised blend of probiotics suitable from birth and containing LAB4B, the latest of BioCare's industry-leading LAB4 probiotic and G.O.S., which encourages the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestine of the baby.

Recommended intake:
One heaped scoopful (approx. 1gm) daily mixed into a small amount of sterile water or suitable milk to form a paste.  Give orally alongside baby's feed.  During weaning, Baby BioFlora can be mixed into cool or warm soft food.  Suitable from birth onwards.

454 mother/baby pairs took part in the trial. Half of the mothers took the 10 billion of the LAB4B probiotic per day during the last trimester and then gave the same probiotic to their newborn babies every day for 6 months following birth. Half the mothers and babies took the dummy preparation.
