High-strength Vitamin B1 supplement that provides 500mg of pure thiamine hydrochloride in the form of a vegan supplement capsule. There are two forms of thiamine commonly used in vitamin B1 supplements - thiamine hydrochloride and thiamine mononitrate. Both are synthetic; however, thiamine hydrochloride (HCl) is water-soluble, unlike thiamine mononitrate, making it much more effective as the body can absorb it easier. While many supplements on the market do not use thiamine hydrochloride due to its more time-consuming and challenging manufacturing process, at G&G we are committed to utilising it in our supplements.
Vitamin B1, also known as Thiamine, is the first numbered member of the B vitamin family. It is found in many foods, including yeast, cereal grains, beans, nuts and meat. Additionally, it is often used in combination with other B vitamins.
Vitamin B1 contributes towards a healthy diet in several ways. It contributes to normal function of the nervous system, heart, and psychological function, as well as contributing to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Our supplements come with sustainability in mind. Our tubs and labels are made from natural plant materials, which makes them 100% biodegradable. That means our tubs will feel right at home in a composting bin. While our lids are not yet compostable, they are recyclable. Please check with your local recycling authority for proper disposal. Additionally, our supplements are made using 100% renewable energy.
Our Vitamin B1 Thiamine supplement is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It is also approved kosher and does not contain any major allergens.
