Our astaxanthin is plant based, sourced from microalgae grown in Isreal. This makes our astaxanthin ideal for vegans. We blend astaxanthin with vitamin E to further increase the antioxidant benefits of our supplement.

Astaxanthin is a natural pigment and is what gives certain sea creatures their red colour, including trout, salmon, crab, microalgae and shrimp. Astaxanthin is a type of carotenoid which is released by sea creatures as a defence mechanism crucial for survival against attack.

Astaxanthin is a potent antioxidant. Our astaxanthin supplement contains vitamin E, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
