Our Iron mineral supplement contains pure high-strength iron bisglycinate, a chelated form of iron, to create a high-quality mineral supplement. Each capsule provides 50mg of elemental iron within a vegetable shell.
Iron is an essential mineral required for life. Iron is necessary for the production of hemoglobin, myoglobin, and certain enzymes.
We use iron bisglycinate in our mineral supplement. Iron bisglycinate is a chelated mineral. Chelated minerals are combined with amino acids to form a complex that is more easily digested and assimilated by the body. This enables us to offer a iron supplement of the highest quality, rich in nutrients.
Iron contributes to a healthy diet in many ways. This includes contributing to normal cognitive function, energy yielding metabolism and a reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Iron also contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin, oxygen transport in the body and has a role to play in the process of cell division.
Our supplements come with sustainability in mind. Our tubs and labels are made from natural plant materials which makes them 100% biodegradable. That means our tubs will feel right at home in a composting bin. Our lids are not yet compostable, but are recyclable, please check with your local recycling authority. Our supplements are also made with 100% renewable energy.
Our Iron supplement is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It is also approved kosher and does not contain any major allergens.
