From Biotics Research Corporation, the Ca/Mg Zyme contains 300mg of Calcium citrate and 60mg magnesium aspartate. The ratio is 5 parts to 1 (per 6 tabs) with the vegetable culture antioxidant enzymes (SOD) superoxide dismutase and catalase. The product is also available in 120 tablet size.
Description
Macrominerals play an important role in a wide range of metabolic functions. Macrominerals such as calcium and magnesium are important for young children and adolescent girls, due to their increased requirement growth and to maximise bone and skeletal health. It is important for the wider population too, as some antibiotics, antacids, anticoagulants, corticosteroids, statins, and oral contraceptives may lower calcium and magnesium status.
As 99% of the body’s supply of calcium can be located in skeletal tissues, and 60-65% of magnesium is located in bone, ~27% is intramuscular, and ~7% is found in other cell types and bodily fluids, this product can be used where a need for supplemental calcium and magnesium has been determined.
Directions For Use
Six (6) tablets each day as a food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
