Micro Liposomal C is an advanced liposome form of vitamin C, using only pure ingredients: European Non-GMO vitamin C, and soy-free essential phospholipids from Non-GMO sunflower lecithin. Micro Liposomal C provides a liposomal delivery system using unilamellar liposomes (single bilayer) that are 2 to 8 times smaller than other vitamin C liposome products. The liposomes utilised in Micro Liposomal C are much smaller in size than those used in most other liposomal vitamin C formulations. They range in size from 70-130 nm, whereas other products use liposomes that range from 300-600 nm. These small liposomes absorb faster and penetrate deeper into tissues, with absorption beginning in the oral cavity. Perhaps more importantly, liposomes in this size range are not scavenged by the reticulo-endothelial filtration system of the liver and spleen, allowing a longer retention time in the body.

The smaller size has other benefits. It allows a higher vitamin C to phospholipid ratio, allowing a more reasonable intake of phospholipids when taking higher amounts of vitamin C. It also results in a product that is a delicious and easy-to-pour liquid, instead of a strong-tasting gunk that doesn’t dissolve well in liquids.

Phospholipids are not just carriers of other nutrients, but are beneficial nutrients in their own right. Phospholipids are present in cells throughout the body, especially in the brain, heart, liver, kidneys, and gastrointestinal tract.

Phosphatidylcholine is a key component of acetylcholine, an important brain neurotransmitter, and also of the membranes of liver cells, where it supports healthy fluidity and function of the membranes.

Phosphatidylcholine is also found in the healthy mucosal barrier in the gastrointestinal system.

Directions for use

As a food supplement, 1 teaspoon at least ten minutes before meals, once daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Stir into liquid and swallow or may be taken undiluted.
